Consistently good food, which is so rare today. Great local place, they have private rooms for smaller parties. Great pricing.
I always get the clams, they are so good. And pasta dishes are great also, as well as the chicken dishes... Honestly each time I go there I enjoy what I get.

It's a small, cozy place that was discovered by accident. Went in when the kitchen was closed, but the bar was open. Service top notch at the bar. Frank, the tank was awesome. The drinks they made were done professionally, and they didn't cheat on ingredients. The beer section at bar has a decent draft variety. Overall experience was pleasant. Will be back to try the kitchen later on.

I recently had a baby shower at Canlon’s, and everything was perfect. They made it a very easy process. The service the day of the event was impeccable. The food was delicious. We had plenty of time before to decorate and we were not rushed out at the end. I would recommend this place for a private event! I’ve been there for dinner as well and as always service and food are great. The prices are very reasonable

Truly unique in its offerings compared to what is available elsewhere on the island. Canlon's has some of the best baked clams I have ever had and their spicy shrimp appetizer is amazing. The French onion soup is fantastic and the main dish portions are more than enough for almost all diners. Definitely a hidden gem.

Food was great. Place is not going for michelin star - they are going for homey comfort food in a neighborhood tavern setting and they nailed it. The service was absolutely excellent. Looks like a bunch of the employees (our waiter and the hostess at least) might have been Farrell high school students or recent graduates but they were as professional as any maitre d’ in the finest restaurants. Cordial, respectful, attentive, and helpful from beginning to end. Really great to see. Food was excellent too. The shrimp Wellington is top notch. Flaky buttery pastry encasing succulent shrimp and crab with a bisque sauce. It was absolutely magnificent. I will be back just for that. Crab stuffed sole was solid as well. The 29 dollar prefix is also a serious deal as it contains a lot of great options including the shrimp wellington. Not a presumptuous place at all which I liked. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the fence. I will return for sure.
