This is a new place in the neighborhood of Paradise Valley. I received excellent customer service from the staff. The food on the Happy Hour menu looked delicious. I had the calamari, and it was delicious. I had the vinegar fries and the cheeseburger, and both were 5 stars! The bartender was very helpful with the menu selections. Thank you. I will return just for that excellent customer service at the bar!

Ok First off, be assured that this is a 100% pure honest review. I say that because it’s going to sound almost too good to be true. We were on our way to our favorite hardware store on Tatum at 10:45 am on Saturday. For some reason, I hadn’t noticed this restaurant was there, but it caught my eye today and I asked Siri to show me. Well the menu looks very tempting and then I noticed that it is a Chef Joey restaurant (at which I have never had a bad experience) so when we finished at the hardware store, I said, “hey I know it’s early for lunch, but let’s go here since we’re close now” and luckily my partner agreed. So we got there shortly after they opened. Chris opened the door and welcomed us warmly. My first impression was “wow” a friendly greeting and a beautiful dining space. We took it in for a second and said we’d like to sit at the bar. Great decision. Jonathan, the bartender is amazing. He helped us navigate the menu and pointed out that it’s Happy Hour at the bar, all day every day. They have great deals on food and drinks for Happy Hour so we started with the Zeppole appetizer, which is delicious fried dough with garlic butter and comes with marinara for dipping. We ordered some drinks, I had a spicy Bloody Mary and my partner had a Lemoncello Margarita which he enjoyed. Jonathan is amazing to watch as he created our drinks. Then our food arrived and my partner had the Rigatoni pasta dish and he said it was delicious. I had the Sausage and Peppers sandwich. The sausage was amazing and a bit spicy with a good amount of garlic. We shared the Salted Caramel Panna Cotta(sp?) for dessert. We could not have had a better time. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent, Kevin, Chris and Jonathan were the best. It got busier as we enjoyed our leisurely meal and everyone else that I saw got the same welcoming hospitality. We drove away and my partner commented that he was glad that I had noticed this restaurant today. We’re returning this week with our small neighborhood dining group. There is so much on the menu that looks tantalizing so I am sure that we will become regulars here. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for a great Italian dining experience.

Highly recommend this place! Food was awesome! We didn’t wait long at all, waiter was really nice & service was great! For a family I would highly recommend, kids menu has filet skewers for $10. Build your own milkshake bar was a big hit and the ice cream was amazing!!! When I got the bill I was pleasantly surprised!

The service is impeccable with what seems like more wait staff than patrons. There was no waiting for anything and everyone helps out. The food was interesting especially the fried pizza crust, it is different. The skewers were not very flavorful, and the individual pizza was OK. I did enjoy the pork sliders. They also know how to do a latte! Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Finally made it here. Awesome as always. Chef Joey has another great restaurant.
The food was wonderful, stuffed pepper appetizer, and the incredible prawns. Cocktails perfect. Plus the decore is beautiful, great attention to the details.
You must go....!

Alright, here’s the scoop. The place rocks. Atmosphere is a cool mix of old school Roman sculptures and street art. It works.
Service is second to none. Chris waited on us at the bar and made us feel right at home. Also, the manager Mike was super friendly, and even invited us to some of Chef Joey’s other restaurants.

As far as the food goes, it was good. My wife and I got like 5 different things (between appetizers, entrees, and desert). My only critique is that there wasn’t a wild amount of diversity among the flavors of the foods. It’s strange to eat Italian food where tomato sauce didn’t play any role in our dinner. But hey, where else can you get a brisket patty burger.

The place is a win. Try it out. You’ll like it.
